Wisdom tooth removal today!!

Yeah I need to get my widsom teeth pulled as well... at least that's what they tell me. I too have wondered why they're called wisdom teeth. Maybe to do with like Ryan said, age, cause it's a mark of old age and with old age comes wisdom? Something like that probably. But then again you're not even very old when they come in, hah or maybe it's because they're just the last teeth that come in.

Either way, I think I want to keep mine... I mean they shouldn't grow in just to be pulled out, that's my view on it. Besides maybe I"m a little scared as well because I"ve seen Xrays of my root system and it would be very painful, even though I would be gassed and al that... Worrisome I guess. One of those things, once you do you can't change your mind later and redo it. But regardless, they haven't caused me any trouble yet, and I'm starting to enjoy their company hehe

Grats to you though mackman for goin through with it. Enjoy your "sick" days. Nurse that jaw back into action and then enjoy a nice big steak with a beauty phatty of a blunt.

some people never need to have them pulled out, it all depends on how they're coming in and if they are 'impacted' the recovery process is alot more painful.

my brother got them pulled a few months back and the very night after he got them pulled he asked if i wanted to smoke a bowl. i didnt think this was a good idea but hes crazy so he insited he was smokin with or without me so i figured i mine as well toke with him. then a friend of mine got them pulled and was smoking cigarettes and drinking bear with us the day after he got it done. i know other people tho that are down for at least a week.

Why can't you smoke for two weeks after you get your wisdom teeth pulled?
