Are bongs and pipes too harsh for your throat?

Pipes are the way to go. i have a 3 inch glass pipe that i got at a local "glass shop" for like $40 US. i love it.

LOL the point of a bong is that the water cools the msoke down. with a spliff u get the pape smoke too and the smoke is only traveling like 3 inches so its still super hot. the farther the smoke travels the better i say

you make a good point, i do like bongs, but personally i much more of a joint person. i just love the process of sitting back, skinning up, admiring your handywork, then having a nice long relaxing smoke and chat with a few mates.
