somewhere in the bible it says something like

"and you shall eat the weeds of the fields"

or something, and thats why rastafarians smoke it im pretty sure. Yeah even in the 60s weed with bugger all thc in it was popular, i think its only breeding that has changed it.

i think that the natives were the first to smoke it... and in that case it would be a religious thing... i think they smoked it in their peace pipes as some sort of religious celebration... and maybe because of how weed effects people they thought that god was creating the feeling or what ever spirit there celebration had to do with was acknowledging the celebration.

i did history last year at skool. and in teh books it sed tht the red indians and such like. (this wen america was been formed by teh white ppl) they smoked cattle chips. there was no mention of weed. im too stoned 2 know wot im on about
