How much money exactly did he leave ya?

Money is a drug, he might get very pissed when he comes back for it, and there's quite a bit of cash missing. I would just either not spend ne of it at all or flee the country.

ive spent exactly 3000 rupees...i hvent had the time or the balls to count the entire thing...there's a little over 200 stacks of 1000 rupee notes...each stack has 100 notes...and there are other notes of different denominations (of 500, 100 and 50 rupee notes..)...so...

when i first opened the suitcase..my mind went "doingggg":shock: ...now ive gotten used to it...

yeah...i know...wiser counsel has prevailed and much as i would have wanted to, i dont think i can run away to Trinidad & Tobago followed by a week in Monte Carlo after the weekend in Rio...

...oh well..hope he gives me some free hash for not stealing (unreasonably) from him..

There's nothing wrong with takin a little fee out for savin his dough. If your stashin it you deserve a little paycheck you know? Tell him to look at it this way, it was either he lost whatever you took out or he loses it all when the cops bust him. Comon now, glass half full or half empty?

I don't know man, try to put yourself in the shoes of the guy who gave you the money.
If I were the dealer, ideally I would leave you the money, and if you didn't spend any I'd reward you with druge, discounts on drugs, or whatever else. If you spent a bit of it, I'd maybe just let it slide and let you keep it. If you spent alot of it, I'd make you pay it all back.
That's just me though, I don't even know the guy. Just don't spend too much, none would be better.

The polite thing for him to do would be giving you some of the cash. I mean, you don't just drop a wad of cash in someone's lap and ask them to keep it safe for a while. What if you get caught with it? What if someone hears about and decides it's a good idea to steal it?

On the other hand, I wouldn't take any of it unless you know the guy well.

But in all fairness, you should get a reward for holding it, preferrably a small percentage of the money.

well its just lying there now...chap hasnt called, messaged or emailed since the end of last month..i emailed him a couple of times and didnt get any reply...

so...am just gonna let it lie in my cupboard till he lands up i guess...
