I drive a 1994 Honda Accord (was dad's, mum's, sister's). The lady has 100,000 miles on er, but drives like a beaut. 5-speed, 145 hp 2.2l.
This summer I'm spending a grand or so on a system (audio). Rockford Fosgates and Pioneers cuz anything else won't be quality. Eh... I'm in love even if it doesn't sound great.

Peoples ignorance fucks alot of shit up. You deff gotta have your car running good before anything.Weedguru Higher wrote:Just make sure you don't do what my nephew did. He had an Acura bout the same year as you. Put in a wicked sound system, lowered suspension, mags and a bunch of other stuff. Then he forgot to put oil in his car and he blew the engine.

What a coincidence I just got my first car last weekend. It's a 1987 Civic Sedan, 175k miles. Not exactly a nice car but I'm very pleased as it's my first and now I can get around without having to bum rides off of everyone. I bought it from my neighbor for $750. The speakers are blown and it doesn't look so great, mabye I will take some pictures to post up here. I did just put a new radio in and buy an iTrip so I can listen to my Ipod through the radio which is pretty nice. It runs alright, whilst flooring it on the highway the other day I discovered that it tops out around 85. So my first car isn't so hot but it runs and it gets me around.

used to have an '84 Honda CRX..sold it..now im saving up for the new Suzuki Swift GTi..its only 84bhp, but thats enough for these driving conditions...plus its only 384,000 rupees starting...thats dirt-fucking-cheap for a car that comes with ABS, EBD, power windows and steering, central locking and airbags...
we dont get a lot of these features as standard fitment on most cars in that price bracket here...and stuff like ABS and airbags are available only as options on more expensive cars (barring the mercs and beemers)
what i really want to get is this:
