By the way... totally untrue. I had a girl after me a few months back, mentioned that she's make me "Dead as your father", and the phe she'd been tracked to calling from was at my job.... 3 times. I went to the P.D. with all the threats recorded and the call log, and they did nothing. They said all I could do was let her beat the shit out of me, then get her with assault and battery. I said, "What if she hits me first and I beat the hell out of her?" I was told she could put charges back on me. The definition of self defense is to escape attack, stun them without hurting them badly, and .. get this... RUN AWAY. I damn near laughed at the cop. I said, "Look at me; I'm a chubby girl. Do YOU think I could outrun anyone?" He said my best bet was to let her hurt me.
