We aint saying it's gotta be essay quality, there's a big difference between spelling words wrong and typos and deliberately abbreviating every word of a sentence without using a single punctuation mark. Your posts are always perfectly legible, i think this thread was aimed more at people like rach on a zoot and other 12 year old AOLers who would write what i just wrote like this;
WE INT SAYIN ITZ GOTTA BE ALL SCHOOLY N SHIT THERZ A BIG DIFRENCE BTWEEN SPELLIN WORDZ WRONG AND TIPOS AN DELBRATLY ABREVAIATIN EVRY WERD OF A CENTENSE WIVOUT USIN A SINGL PUNCTUATING THINGY UR POSTZ R ALWAYZ PERFECTLY READBLE INNIT I TINK DIS FREAD WAS AIMED MR @ PPL LIK RACH ON A ZOOT AN OVA 12 YR OLD AOLERZ HU WOOD WRITE WOT I JUST SED LIK DIS LOL OMG!!!!!!11!!

yeah true.....if you can't understand what is being written just through bad abbreviation then its pretty safe to assume that its not going to be worth the effort reading in the first place

It's not AOL speak but in fact it's the INVASION OF THE RIDELIN-ADDICTED COUNTER-STRIKE KIDDIES! They're all getting old enough to smoke weed now and that means we have to deal with them. I say ban 'em on sight but I'm just an extremist against these morons.
I understand what you're saying, Tom. I don't think I've ever seen a post of yours that was as illegible as these little kids' posts.
Capitals aren't such a big deal either. I only use them because I took the effort to learn to type in junior high

.
By far the worst attempts I've seen at spelling from one of those kids is this word:
Nutrual

fair does people, i understand what your gettin` at but i still think caro was a bit harsh on what she was saying, a simple 'if the post is too horrible to read a moderator will get rid of it', would of been better

What can I say, years of holding it inside will do that to you....

You could ignore it, but all the weedguru's do constantly remind us of how much bandwith people always waste.
And I do agree that AOL speak should be done away with. I'm not saying people aren't allowed to spell words incorrectly, but a lot of people go over board. On purpose.
Also, get rid of people who type in all caps. Unless it's obvious they're actually yelling.

A minority of kids in England have been using shorthand in school over the last few years. This could be the same everywhere else, I'm not sure but its really quite worrying.

Am I the only one that waits forever to vote on anything? I mean I always wait and wait to see what other people say than I always cast my vote like now. Ive come to the conclusion that since I am no longer smoking it doesnt piss me off as bad as it used to AOL speak that is.
