Re: The Random Topic
good to see you Ryan! Well I had stickers at one point that I would have mailed out to anyone in north America that wanted them, but no one emailed or messaged me their address. Good thing you didn't either I'm a dea agent who is wanted in six different states for sexually assaulting animals
. The stickers are gone now. It doesn't help that when one searches for marijuana forums on Google this place comes up at the bottom of the second page underneath a forum for addiction recovery to marijuana. But yea, I would be willing to help in any way.

Re: The Random Topic
This has been something we've debated on here as a community before. Personally, I've become a lot busier recently in a positive way so being a daily poster is very likely something of the past. The same can be said for a lot of our core members from the past in that they've gotten older and probably have a lot less time on their hands nowadays.Weedguru Higher wrote: Got any ideas?
With that being said, age isn't the only factor, in that arguably three or four of our best ever posters have already been extremely, extremely old for the longest of times. I won't mention any names, but I hope you know who you are
I don't think anything has to be changed on the forums, which has been an opinion of some. Condensing the forums would probably make topics more active but I think the subsections on the forum have been popular before and can thrive once again. I just don't think we get the same advertisement as we once did. The way I found weedguru was through a google search on something weed related because it was the first website that showed up... but like CTCF mentioned, we aren't even on the first page of a weed related search anymore. We tried the sticker experiment and while I think it's a cool little idea, it wasn't in such a manner that weedguru originally attracted members... something else changed. If I knew anything more about running a popular forum, then I would have the exact solution, but I don't. I just think it certainly has to do with whatever decides how high we do come up on these searches.
Just my two cents.
I saw on TV today, this man lost his son, his son died...
So he had him cremated, took his ashes, and then made it into a Diamond ring...
Now he watches his son shine every day.
I just thought about that, while I sit here ashing in this ashtray...

Re: The Random Topic
Hey all, sorry I haven't been around so much lately, I've been horrendously preoccupied. What's been going on?
I've recently been on a 3 week reading binge after having completed the latest module of my economics class. I'm hooked on eugenics at the moment (not the practise of eugenics, lol). I've been looking into human biology, genetic predispositions and metaphysics, all of which I'm finding profoundly intriguing. It's a long way from economics, but I'm so enthralled with it that I'm now juggling the 2.
I hope everybody is doing well. Spri7e, it's nice to see you back around, and very nice to know you're doing better.
Love to you all, and may we prosper.

Re: The Random Topic
Forum communities come and go, there are a lot of the core members still here but life just carries people in different directions. As for this site ever becoming a large thriving community, I doubt that will happen honestly. I think the biggest marijuana/alternative culture forums out there are going to either be subforums of the gigantic websites like something awful and reddit, or the forums of websites that sell marijuana related items.
I am happy that this site is still up and that I can still make contact with people I've interacted with over the years. I can't post nearly as often as I used to because of getting older and becoming busier, and I can't really expect anything more from the other members of ages past.

I personally recommend checking oneself for OCD at least once every 5 minutes.

Re: The Random Topic
As far as the sense of historic eugenics go I a m all for it. The policy should have been implemented 300 years ago and tube present world would not be so fucked up. Hell if it weren't for religion and mass intellectuall inferior breeds g this world wo und be in a much better place. Furthermore as for as I am concerned we could have thrown all moral thought to f he wayside I making that decision. Actually it would have been more .total to brave let some pass l their seed a d not others; strictly speaking it would have advanced the human race. Oh and religion should be shot down with an elephant gun.Weedguru_Fire_Inside wrote:Hey all, sorry I haven't been around so much lately, I've been horrendously preoccupied. What's been going on?

Re: The Random Topic
So that last post is hard to comprehend and it is due to my new smartphone the Samsung galaxy S 3 is bad for this forum. I will correct It if I can get to a desktop. My apologies.
