Pretty metal, regular metal... I have a couple acoustic songs too... Too bad we don't live anywhere near each other. I like a lot of your stuff and it would be cool to collaborate...

Re: The Random Topic
he applied to carpentry programs at 4 different colleges.
one in sarnia, london, kitchener and windsor.
and yes i want to go to school too, but all the programs he applied to are 1 year because his aunt and uncle are planning on apprenticing him at their business. they make cabinets and do renovations etc.
the catch is their business is in a different city, guelph, then the colleges. so we would have to move again when he is done school.
now if i wanted to also go to a one year program that would be fine, but i would like to go to uni for fine arts. thankfully guelph has awesome arts programs, so if we make it there im def gonna go to school.
but for the time being im just gonna wait and see what colleges accept josh, and then look into what kinds of resources they have in that city to help me build my portfolio and skill sets.

Considering the situation you're living back there in sarnia. That's the best thing i've read in this month !AbbyRoad wrote:my bf just applied to college

Just a heads up, I can only access the site as of now from my phone. My roommate moved out and when he did he took his CPU with him. I'm unable to access this site at my place of employment due to the nature of things, but once I set myself up with something(no idea how long that will take) I will be back into the fray throwing fat onto the fire. Keep well all and carry on.

Alright CTCF best o' luck, maybe buy a notebook or something ? nothing too fancy, just a mobile platform that you can use to browse the web and check documents etc.
And i'm glad you're moving out Abby, where's BF attending college ?
I'm kind of in a rut, lost my job a week or two ago due to economic problems at the company, as I was still on trial it was easy and cheap for them to let me go.
I started applying the minute I knew what was going to go down but so far nothing interesting has crossed my path, I'm actually contemplating picking up on college again or something, we'll see .
Other than that I'm pretty alright I guess.

Computer games don't affect kids. I mean, if Pac-Man had affected us as kids, we would all be running around darkened rooms, munching magic pills, and listening to repetitive electronic music.

Eurocrisis got you down Flow? Shit, I'd honestly consider moving to Spain this year if it wasn't for the fact that it's at risk of financially collapsing...

Re: The Random Topic
tomorrow morning im taking the train to visit my parents and get tattooed.
im coming back thursday evening, so its going to be a real short trip. but totally worth it.
getting way more color put into my back and spending a whole day with my awesome mom.
the only real bummer is i have to take the train back to sarnia day after my tattoo sitting. the train is usually a bumpy ride. my skin and muscles are going to be so sore and swollen... its prolly going to be a bitch of a trip. and then to top it off i get back at 11pm thursday night and work 7am in the morning friday.
our usual start time is 8.30. but they needed people in extra early that morning. and tbh my bus doesnt even starting running til 6.45, so the earliest i can actually get there is 7.20ish. but my manager said they needed me AT 7, so i had to make arrangements with a coworker to give me a lift to work that morning.
but shit gets worse....i live with 4 other people and we all work morning and there is only one bathroom. so we have a very strict morning schedule. if you miss your window youre pretty much screwed for using the bathroom before work. starting at work at 7 will put me right in the middle of one of the older guys bathroom time. so if i want to use the bathroom im going to have to wake up for 5am.
and its not even like i can just shower the night before and skip the bathroom in the morning.
im going to have a fresh healing tattoo. and you NEED to clean it in the morning with light shower. or else it will get more scabby, and scabs can mean loss of color!
im pissed off at my circumstances, my awesome trip home is colored with my return hassle.

Yeah I definitely would stay away from Spain/Portugal/Greece, if one of those fails again we are going down hard.JokersAce wrote:Eurocrisis got you down Flow? Shit, I'd honestly consider moving to Spain this year if it wasn't for the fact that it's at risk of financially collapsing...
Meh, it's not like I won't find a new job it's just that it was a really cool group of people to work with, and it was pretty close to home.
Carry on !

Well you're a stoner, it's natural to lag on cognition a bit
WB Ryan.
Not much, some people left, some people returned, traffic is at an all time low and other than that people are living life I guess.
Waffles had to 'quit' because her parents went apeshit (very religious etc.) I believe WG_Tom showed his face a month or so ago, dunno if he's still around.
I'm looking for a new job !

Re: The Random Topic
Wow, I haven't seen Tom since '05... And even then he may have left before I joined and I just saw his old posts.
That sucks to hear about waffles...Was it about WG? If so I wonder how her folks even found out... I was under the impression she didn't live with them (though given the economic times, a lot of people are having to move back in with their parents, so I wouldn't be too surprised if that was the case).
As for my name, yeah it's a palindrome. Lol, I came up with that back when I was all of like 14 or something and it's just kinda stuck through the years.. I Never was good at thinking up a good username lol, so I guess that's one of the more creative ones I've ever used.
And good luck on the job hunt Flow! Hope you get something good. I'm in the same boat.
