Ya, that was awsome.

Hockey is a canadian game. It's just not the same with American teams..

I'm watching Game 7 of the Eastern confrence finals..
Buffalo Vs Carolina..
Second period intermission..
Currently 2-1 for buffalo...
GO CAROLINA!!!! Ah!! Either way it makes no difference to me..

i think carolina will take it but it shouldnt be a quick blowout series. and what a turn-around its been for cam ward. this should definately help him turn into their franchise goalie quicker than they expected after the reg season.

I don't like to say this out loud, but sometimes I doubt the Oilers..

I hope they win! I'd love to see the cup in Canada!

i didnt watch any of the games the whole way through and analyze how the teams were defensively and whatnot so i cant really make a strong comment. but with teams healthy the whole way through, i think carolina still wouldve taken this. both teams have pretty good offensive depth, but carolinas is more experienced and developed. i think most people use miller as buffalos strong point and with that being said, cam ward was just has huge for his team. his numbers were better, if that means much, but from what i did see, hes made some great clutch saves throughout the playoffs.

it seemed like a close final game and with the experience buffalo had scratched on their D, i cant say they wouldnt have won the final game. i guess the team just has so much heart and played well together (similar to edmonton) to overachieve comapred to a team like carolina. they should keep pushing in the coming years. their core players are still only getting better and theyve got a solid franchise goalie wholl be a definate repeating all-star.

what do you people think has been the best save so far during this years playoffs? out of the saves ive seen, i have to say Roloson's glove save on cheechoos one-timer from Thornton. if i remember correctly it was at a clutch time and looked fucking beautiful. great read by roloson plus to actually keep it in the glove.

Roloson made some BEAUTIFUL saves! I was really impressed with him. I didnt watch many of the Oilers regular season games, just the ones against the Canucks.. I can't think of any specific saves at the moment, but Roli deffenetly played well.

As for the Carolina buffalo series, I think, as well, either way, Carolina would have taken it. They've got a much stronger team, I was surprised the Sabors made it that far!
Good series though...

Man am I ever looking forward to monday!

(good to see you post in here Canuck!)

Oh my god Ward! 22 years old, has to be the most impresive goalie to watch. I hate him in this series. Damn you Ward!
Some amazing saves last night. Shut us (edmonton) out. Carolina leads the series 2-0. Disapointing.
Roloson is out of the playoff's with a knee injury. Late in the third period of game 1. Heart breaking. They put in Conklin, ouch, he made one wrong VERY embarrasing move.. which lead to our defeat...

Next two games are in Edmonton, I'm hoping this home ice advantage will be what we need to win the next to games... They need to build they're confedence..

Lets go boys!

looks like the town of edmonton might get to see the cup again...just not in the hands they want.

Not so confident anymore. Edmonton Oilers lose in game 4.. 2-1 Samsonov with the only goal for the oilers...

We had so many powerplays.. but didnt do nothing with them.. they looked bad tonight

Oh well, Carolina has more canadians on the team...
