I believe in God for mainly a couple reasons

1 - I find it EXTREMELY hard to believe that animals and humans formed from a couple cells. I find it even harder to believe that all of a sudden BOOM shit happened (reffering to the big bang)
People always say you can't prove God, but you can't prove what the scientists say either because it's all theory.

2 - I go through life better knowing (hopefully) that I'll go to heaven where bad shit never happens. If something bad happens to me I just say hey...fuck it. If I didn't believe in God I'd probably get worked up over alot of stupid things.

3 - If I was God, I would make people and just watch them be stupid. I would find that EXTREMELY amusing. Even though the death of millions of innocent people wouldn't be funny...

And I feel bad because alot of Christians ruin it for people with the whole... BELIEVE OR YOU GO STRAIGHT TO FUCKING HELL

Fossils prove that dinosaurs existed, through the cells in them. The Bible is nothing more than a book that could have been written by anyone.

Fossils are basically rocks, I don't think there are any cells in them

And as for the questions; If YOU had the power to create a rock so big and heavy that you couldn't pick it up, why would you? That's such a waste of time.
COULD he create someone more powerful than he? Hmm...maybe he could, or maybe God has a cap on his power, so that he could create someon with as much power as He, but no more.
Technically he made Jesus and the Holy Spirit and they have power just like He does, but I don't think they have as much.

Fossils are miniralized reasons of Animals/Plants. They are proven to contain Animals/Plants so they are real.

I always get the same answer from you people, its not a whether of would he, its can he? and if he cant then he isnt all powerful and if he can then he isnt all powerful.

The exact same thing is with if he can create someone more powerful than him, if he has a cap on his power then obviously hes not all powerful

science gives explanation for things that happened in the bible the same way the bible gives explanations to some phenomena that science can't figure out. i think if the two tried to work more closely together alot more would get done. mind you im not talking about religion here im talking about written scripture.

actually, slick nick is all right, i think its hard to believe. and couple of years ago, i saw a guy on tv, which i just watched because i was extremely stoned.

he was a christian who was "fighting" to get laws to prohibit lies in text books in schools. i didnt saw the whole thing, but everything made perfect sense. for an example, grand canyon, the experts say it was formed by a river that flowed trough it for million of years. the christian explained that is impossible, purely because the canyons arent in the same way as the stream. also, there are still 2 lakes around. the christian explained that grand canyon has a few mountain ridges or something a couple miles next to it, and that it was way more likely that during the flood with noahs ark and everything, those ridges acted as a dam. the dam spilled over and all the water streamed out of it, causing the canyons and stuf in grand canyon.

there was something else he was explaining. the layers in the ground all have names for the time they were formed in, like the jura and etc. now all over the world you can find fossiled tree going straight tru the layers, that would mean a tree had to stand up for millions and millions of years. and there even are three's found up side down tru the layers. now what would happen if would put some dirt and a few sticks in a bucked and shake it, you would get different layers, so the christians even have proven there was a big flood.

and if you would put something in some kind of preserving envirement under pressure you could get a fossile, can even happen within 20 years. so how people age different things is all bullshit too...... the earth has different layers, thing like dino bones which are just found, are aged with carbon and other chemical tracing. now i dont exactly remember it, but the bones where aged with help of the layers it was found in. now the layers ages are based on the bones found in there.

i didnt think that guy was still around, he gives good explanations for all the fossils and gives good reason for extinction of the dinosaurs.

Fact rules over fiction. There is fact Dinosaurs existed, there is absolutely no fact in God other than what someone has written into a book.

Religion is just a safe haven for people who dont understand/are scared of things. You all think your going to heaven and whatnot but you could just end up in a box in the ground.
