I now finished the game.

It's pretty good but way too 'girly' in a lot of ways. Pretty in-depth but not so much as Final Fantasy X

And yes it is for PS2.

I know what your saying about that 'girly' feeling on FF games, and the constant fights sometimes piss me off when im just trying to do something specific, definatly just a renter eh?

eh i wouldnt say the girly feeling is common in ff games. ive never picked up anything personally in the others. x-II however, im not sure how far i am, but im a decent distance, you only play as girls. its also very...........aimless. i dont know about everyone else, but i kind of enjoyed the linear nature of FFX. While FFX-II seems sloppily thrown together (from idea to game in just 1 year, while FFX was in development for 3 years) its a fun game, and i do enjoy playing it. It IS somewhat of a dissapointment, i expected something on par with FFX, of course, those are very high expectations

Yep. you're gonna be playing as those three girls throughout the entire game. I'd say FFX and X-2 are pretty close to the same when it comes to overall greatness but FFX still is better.
