I dunno if I can but I sure that I can get myself free ferry travel over to Holland and then its a matter of getting around and sumwhere to stay from there on in. If I can manage to get a free ferry journey and we both go I'll go halves on what you'd have to pay ferry wise. Cheaper all round then. Dunno about rail travel tho I need sum links to any websites with as much info as poss I checkin around myself but many hands make light work!
If you want somewhere really cheap to stay and you dont mind camping or staying in a cabin check out Vliegenbos camp site. Tents are about £3 a night and the cabins are summat like £7 a night. Stayed there a couple of times. Nice and chilled atmosphere and decent amenities. Its about a mile behind Central Station but busses run regular as clockwork from outside the station.
