when two mammals lock eyes,
a connection is made,
information is shared,
though not physically displayed.

the globes of sight show the soul in its naked form,
also giving the strongest indication if a heart is cold or warm.

which is why
i always try,
to look people in the eye,
to see if i can tell if they are kind or sly.

a handshake can give a impression of character and demeanour,
but to see what lies,
in a persons eyes,
gives a reading far cleaner.

its seen as rude to stare into this area,
but i find those that stare only at the body far scarier.

i think its true,
that they become a window which you can look right through,
to see and feel the soul that exists,
which changes and reacts as life persists.
