Bad points of legalisation

i know this has probably been said and if it has i apologise but i feel i should say that, if weed was to be legalised, what would happen to the dealers? theyd surely be out of business because there would be a new way for it to be sold? like a shop
i agree it would be nice to walk around with copius ammounts in your pocket and a huge spliff in your mouth but there are bad points
what do you guys think?

Nah, dealers will never go out of business. There will still always be 'blackmarket' weed. It'll be sorta like the guys that sell contraband cigarettes. you get the government taxed ones in the stores for high prices, or you go see the contreband guys who sell it cheaper and tax free. Weed will be just like that.

The reason they are gonna keep larger possesion, growing and traffic a crime, is to TRY and stop peeps from doing this, cause the government will loose loads of precious tax money

I think that if it was legalized and tobacco companies started producing it, they would put nicotine in it to make you addicted. Just some food for thought.

I hav 1 reason 4 not legalising weed. Unfortunately, ther r sum ppl hu smoke weed just "2b cool" & "2 rebel" & all sorts of other nonsense like that. If weed was legal, these idiots wud prob do worse drugs so they can say "ha wer doin illegal stuf, wer cool". These losers need to be saved from themselves. (I know ther r ppl like this, they go 2my skool & roll joints in th bak of my religious studies class)

i hate people like that!!!!!!!!! they are called posers .... all my old friends used to talk bout how weed is the shit and how they did it and now that i smoke weed i say stuff like yah its great and they get pissed and tell me im retarded for ever smoking it i think its fucked up i wish people would just stop contradicting them selves ... as for weed i think it should stay illeagal ... just bc if ur smart about what ur doin n where ur don it then you really dont need to worry bout the cops... i can get my weed really easily now and ill be able to get it tomorrow ... its not like its going anywhere while its illeagal ... not really a point to leagalize

The dealers would need to compete against the shops so they would charge less. The shops would need to compete against the dealers. Eventually it would end in shit huge amounts for piss poor amounts af money in both shops and with dealers.

If the government does leagalize it.. im my opinion.. the prices would probably skyrocket.. and they would probably grow it less potent

Reasons to leagalize:

1. People buy potent weed from shops instead of mexican schwag or overpriced nugs.

3. shops Would get plenty of business, alot of people dont smoke because its Illegal now... (i have a few friends who got caught, now too scared to smoke)

The goverment would make more than just the money they get from tax. they would save £billions a year by not having to pay for resources so they can bust smokers/dealers. Less people in jail so the tax payer would have to pay less (even though we'd probably then have to pay for some other stupid thing so it'd prob work out the same). But for the goverment to legalise is a leap in the dark.
