Yeah man, that was very unlike him, but as was seen it can happen to pretty much any goalie in a competition like this. Martin Brodeur was not any better vs the USA than Kiprusoff... both of whom are elite goalies. After paying a lot of attention to the manner in which the Canadian team was selected, I feel as though we basically selected our team with the motto "how can we beat the Russians?". Well we beat them 7-3, but now we face the US for the gold medal, not the Russians. At the same time, the United States definitely came here with the mentality that they needed a team built to compete with and beat Canada. Hopefully this slight discrepancy in vision will not be the deciding factor in the outcome today's game! I feel as though the game is pretty much a toss up, but would like to think Canada will prevail. I say the final score will be 6-4 Canada.
I saw on TV today, this man lost his son, his son died...
So he had him cremated, took his ashes, and then made it into a Diamond ring...
Now he watches his son shine every day.
I just thought about that, while I sit here ashing in this ashtray...

Goddamn Sidney Crosby........I was just saying as OT started, "man, all they have to do is keep crosby off the puck and we got this one in the bag." Typical.

Hats off to the Canadian hockey team, they showed up to play. It's too bad Crosby wasnt born on the other side of the border.

The only reason the Canadians won that much Gold is simply because they sabotaged the games!

Bad ice-rinks,horrible border-cross tracks etc etc.

But seriously, congratulations you guys !
Computer games don't affect kids. I mean, if Pac-Man had affected us as kids, we would all be running around darkened rooms, munching magic pills, and listening to repetitive electronic music.
