AVATAR APPRECIATION THREAD

Post by wgToonces »

I take it everyone went to see this years* fucking EPIC blockbuster then???

All post here what you thought about it, in depth or just a 10/10 or whatever.

I seen it in 3d and the shit blew my mind. And am I the only one who seen kinda of similarities or slight parallels with the Iraq war right now and that movie? The "we gotta fight terror with terror" line, when they're the ones in there bombing the shit out of them in the first place!

* or was it last?

I FUCKING LOVED THIS MOVIE...

I think it makes it look like we like to take over shit just for our own profit, no matter what the cost because no one stops to look at the big picture and how greedy they are...

10/10 fucking awesome

Best movie ever made IMO. 10/10

It was visually fasinating and the plot wasn't too cliche

Sorry im going against the grain...
I appreciated the enormity of the movie- budget, aesthetics, technicality, but i found myself wanting it to be over about an hour in.
The story was just a cleverly disguised version of a tale told a million times before.
7/10

I agree with Scarf that the storyline was a fairly worn out one, but I still greatly appreciated all the special effects and jaw dropping scenery.
I left the theater wishing that I could come back in my next life to live in a forest like that with a group of people who hold such respect for nature.

me too, plus it was a little too long for my liking. A lot of it was too dragged out, but the rendering was amazing!! :)

37 years? Really? :lol:

It does seem like James Cameron hadn't made any movies since Titanic.
