bong squirts up water! almost like a fountain, through bowl

alright so i made this bong out of a 2l bottle(chamber), a handle from a 2.84l bottle of OJ (stem), and a salt shaker cap (bowl)..
by question is, why is it, that after i inhale and fill the chamber with smoke, wwhen i relsease either the carb, or my mouth, basically, when any air gets in, water from inside squirts up and out of the bowl
any idea why this is happening and what i can do to fix it?

mayb to much water? but after pressure is released it squirts out? :S
is the carb underneath the water level when u start to inhale (pop bottles tend to crush in on emselves when u pull hard enough, and if theres water aboce the carb when u let go, the air coming in could push the water up, other wise i am baffled, for summat to shoot out, it needs to b high pressure (or higher than outside) but obv since u sucking through it, it has a low pressure... it must be something to do with the air pushing the water up somehow, because that doesnt make sense.... make sure the carb isnt getting drowned, thats all i can guess atm, less u think of an more details about it?

yeah the carb actually is NOt submerged, i thought maybe it was becasue the stem's too thick, but iunno.
and yeah, the bong kinda just broke
guna make another one lol
i didnt even get to use it, the metal bowl just kinda fell off.
oh well
but yeah you got it, the water just squirts up. almost like when you clasp your hand together in a bath or something, and squeeze em together, the water kionda shoots up, and it makes the contents of the bowl all wet. which sucks.

alright so i just tried the bong.
its terrible, absolutely terrible lol
so yeah, it made my weed wet.. also im not feeling the high much at all.
i mean, i could tell that i smoked pot
but not by much
however, i only did have like, 2 hits in total
i had one full one, or like, 80% of it, thena half of one
cause yeah, its a 2L bottle, so its kinda hard to get all that air out in one breathe.

if the bowl or carb is below the waterline youll get water coming out both of those holes, so either make a better design or put in less water

I'm sorry to say it dude, but in my experiences a 2L bottle just doesn't work well as a bong. Unless your using them as a bucket (or gbong, same thing) they are to hard to toke by yourself. However a good bong could be made from a 32oz (about 1 liter) bottle. I like to put a long downpipe through the right side of the lid and another hole for a straw in the left side. You can add a carb, by poking a hole in the side of the bottle.I find large gatorade bottles really great for this because they have wide lids. Once you figure it out, they are really easy to make. I usually make a new one every time because they get nasty smelling. if you need more help, let me know
