You can cut through glass with special drill bits, but a glass vase is most likely really thin and fragile (pronounced fradge ee lay hehe) and would most likely break. If you want to make a bong from glass, get a 40z bottle or just a beer bottle and use a drill bit for glass.
I'm just saying that the bottles would be thicker usually so it wouldn't break and be a waste. But go ahead with the vase and take pictures when your finished with it.
ps. I have no idea why I wrote that thing in the perenthases :-\

yooooo
yeah i agree with sprite
a vase is likely too thin/fragile, hence the classy name, vase.. (if you get what i mean, cause, yeah... shh)
so yeah, i bought one of em diamond drill bits for glass, works pretty well, the only cons is a) hard to get the initial dent, cause it slides all over the place, so just either put a piece of tape where you wanna drill in, or make a little chip in the glass to start it off.. and b) it moves kinda fast, and gets hot and stuff, and the vibration can easily crack glass.. it has in the past for me.. but aside from that theyre pretty good.. oh yeah, it takes like, a year to get through the glass with that bit, so paatience..
but yeah
post pic when you get it done
good luck!
