It helps if you're doing something fun 
The nightbefore we were staying up watching all these shows...We watched Lain which is fucked up when you're wide awake, let along watching it at 4 am. Eitherway, our friend Kevin turns to me and says "Why aren't you singing along?" He asked, regarding the opening song to the series. I said "I'm just not very good at learning Japanese lyrics" Much to my chagrin, the song was very much in english. Hmm
