This isn't supposed to cause anyone offence and hopefully even our american members will find it somewhat amusing. I would, if it was about brits. but then again if it was random brits picked from the streets delivering this kind of nauseating comedy I would be selling my bike and getting the hel out of here once and for all!~!!!
The title is a little harsh. I would have replaced 'stupid' with 'woefully ill informed'...
HAHAHHAHAAHAHAHA When the one guy asked what country started with a U a guy said Utah. LMFAO these people are so fucking retarded. I'm from the USA and If that's what people around the world think of the US...they have all the rights to from this video.
reporter: Do you know where KFC is from?

It was filmed in Texas, just to give you an idea of the level of intelligence in that state. The same state George W is from...it's all starting to make sense now.

to add some balance to the ignorance check out Charles Bukowski. Yes he was am immigrant but for sure he is classed as a yankee, and to my mind, he is a Pro...
Animal have you ever researched the 'Beat' movement?

Yes Doc, but thanks for the useful tip which anyone who hasn't been introduced to the crowd of artists which make up the so called BEAT movement should follow up.
I first heard of the movement through one of Thompson's books. I can't remember which one, but most likely it was one of the outstanding letter collections. King Hunter led me onto Burroughs who I read avidly for a month or two thereafter. He amazed me. Not just his extremely unique writing style, but also his metaphysical suggestions and his character. Now that I think of Burroughs I am suddenly desperate to dig out The Place of Dead Roads and enjoy his undoubted genius. A few of his novels are too abstract for my mind to appreciate; mainly the cut-up routines. But then a large portion of his other work contains some of the most original and impressive writing I have read.
The best way i can sum up Burroughs is this: He stretches the core of my feelings and thoughts into directions and shapes which I never imagined existed, he makes my brain buzz with the kind of energy which no man made instrument will ever be able to register; something akin to vitality of the spirit.
The small snippets I have perused of the much touted Kerouac and Ginsberg have failed to attract me further but I will aim to give them both a second- and third if needed -chance in the future.
I only discovered today that Bukowski was connected with Ginsberg and therefore the Beat crowd. He (Bukowski) had been highly reccomended to me by the most interesting chap I met in Melbourne last year and recently Laurene purchased POST OFFICE, by Bukowski, as my christmas present. AFter finishing DOstoyevsky's 'Notes from the underground'(yet another wicked Fyodor book) last week I managed to get my teeth stuck into POST OFFICE. It was pleasantly difficult to put the novel down when 11.30pm appeared on the clock, signalling the cut off point for any hopes of embracing anything more than six and a half hours of sleep before I have to be up and at it like a dopey jack-in-the-box to prepare for work as, appropriately, a mail room goon. The book was invigorating and exciting and I will be definately be seeking out his other auto-biographical writing. He seems like a Pro.

I just started taking a class about it and I'm reading on the road by Kerouac, so fart so good. Another great one I was assigned to read was the white negro by Norman Mailer.
