it's that wonderful time of year when I must get down on one knee and plead for donations.....
The weedguru hosting and domain fees are due in July.
We currently have around 45$US in the weedguru account, which was left over from last years kind member donations.
I have never set out to make weedguru into some kind of cashpig and it has generally been a serious privelige just to sit back and watch the community flourish and ultimately support itself. A self-sustaining stoner community was the origianal goal of the weedguru creation.
With the help of the ultra-fair Doc green, part-time assassin Tom, intellectually advanced Dusk, elusive but valuable Ryan, kung-fu master Sensei, I try to keep the site running sweetly and in good spirits (not 100% accurate, but sounds nice).
There has been countless offers from $$$ hungry webmasters wishing to transform this wonderful site into a playpen for e-wolves and daily sacrificial lambs. The last offer, funnily enough, came from playboy supremo Hugh Heffner. he made a unofficial bid of a cool $7m which to be honest was a very tempting offer, I could start building my own army with that kind of cash. But anyway , like i told the others who came before with the same lame propositions, I said to Hugh..
'The aim of life is to live, and to live means to be aware, joyously, drunkenly, serenely, divinely aware. - to quote the great Henry Miller.
The long and short of this possibly vile nonsense is that weedguru needs somewhere between $110 and $130 for us to meet the hosting and domain costs.
Please donate as little or as much as you can to the cause...The deadline is sometime near the start of June I think....I did try and check for a more definite time frame but I have mislaid my password to access that information...unfortunate and just one of those things! I will do my best to retirieve the mad combination of letters, numbers and heiroglyphics which constitue my password. Then I can provide some more definite information.
Whether one dollar or a thousand, it all helps and is greatly appreciated by you guys and myself.
