To name a few:
Led Zeppelin - How the west was won box set (watch dazed and confused, moby dick, white summer/black mountain side, and several others)
Steve Vai - Live at the Astoria 2004 (Most amazing guitarist in the world, you will belive me when you see him rip off britney spears and then say "but why would I wanna be a popstar when I can do this...")
As for CD's, Yngwie Malmsteen's "Unleash The Fury" Is pretty breathtaking, Cracking the whip is an amazing track.
The Acid Drinkers are deffinatly a good band to listen to, and their cover of "Smoke on the water" pisses all over the original.
An then of course, Bob Marley
Where would we be without a little legendary reggae soul from good old bob, one of the best things to listen to after a harsh session. If you still don't feel like you've had your mind split in two, try finding some video's by "Michael Angelo Batio", he has two necks on his guitar facing opposite dirrections, need I tell you how he uses them
(At the same time :O)Peace
Hope thats gives people a few idea's
