People we appoint as mods are those who post with the intelligence and culture of the site at the heart of their posts. Length of 'service' isn't particularly important. We also like to have a moderator representing all of the communities, for example we have an opening for someone with a passion and a knowledge of all the intricacies of growing marijuana.
