What gets me is how the government, the people inexplicably chosen to run the affairs of our country, can allows our country to become so flooded with immigrants than London, our nations capital, now contains more foreigners than Brits. That would never be allowed to happen anywhere else, but here that seems perfectly acceptable.
It's not the fact that we allow people into the country, its the sheer magnitude and the indiscrimate screening process that is so lethargically applied. I don't see why we can't bring a logical system into effect, like those used in Australia and Canada, where people are only allowed in if they have something to offer to the country, such as qualified doctors and nurses.
Instead, they flood the streets with any Tom, Dick or Sanjeev who feels so inclined, and a large proportion of our taxes go towards supporting and housing them, rather than going to our sub par health care and education systems.
Whatever you think abou this subject, and no matter how much you believe that we are helping out those less fortunate than us, hoping to escape poverty or fierce dictators, that represents only a small proportion. Many come here simply to make use of our free education system and to push their sons or daughters so hard down the path the choose for them in order to gain a qualification an, ultimately, make masses of money that the are not entitled to.
Whatever you may say or have heard, immigrants are drain on the economy. You all know the significant adverse effects of over-population, and that fact remains the same whether the boom comes from excessive copulation or from immigrations.
The fact is, this country is full. The fact that each new development these days are appartment blocks demonstrates this fact, that we have too many people and not enough houses. I understand the compassionate point of view here, but our country and our citizens should come above any other. The attitude that ''we have so much in comparison, so we should give some to those who are less fortunate'' only gets you so far, and is precisely the reason England is only a nice country as opposed to a great one. If the money spent housing and supporting non-citizens were spent on making our country better, there is no telling what could be achieved.
And it's not just that, it's the sheer cheek of the nations that come in, particularly the Asians. Again, i stress this is not racism, it is reality. This is based on not just my opinions, but those of people that do business with them, and even my asian friends.
The do business only with each other whenever possible, the are more racist than any brit you will ever meet, desperate to take over the country of their 'opressers,' the same opressers who allowed if not them then their fathers into the country, housed them, gave them benefits and helped them to set up their business. Any brits they do do business with they attempt to swindle, and will help each other out in this aim in any way they can. They stick together in a way that politcal correctness does not allow us too. They truly believe, and i quote this from an asian friends ''within 20 years Asians will be running this country,'' due to their industrialist nature and the facts they will gang up on the very people who tried to help them. And if something is not done to tighten up the laws, then this is a very real possibility.
I realise there are many exceptions to these rules, but this represents the feelings of the majority, and it is the majority and the whole concept that should be frowned up rather than the individuals.
Is anyone with me on this? To me it seems painfully obvious that something must be done, but political correctness has overtaken logic in modern culture, and politicians care far more about public opinion and winning votes than what is truly best for our great nation.
Discuss.
