i'm not sure many people here will know these guys let alone like them but they are a chilled out good natureed rock band from the uk.
got tickets to the gig on thursday night! last time they were in town my wife and i weren't going to go because we didn't think we could afford it student days) and were having dinner at my parents house when i founf twenty bucks in my pocket, which was what we needed for the tickets so we jumped up from the table in the middle of dinner and got in the car! one of the best international gigs i have ever been to....
i liked the one in the video, "Hit on the Head", by gomez of course. I tried to download it on kazaa but couldn't, and havn't been able to get any of their stuff.

Computer games don't affect kids. I mean, if Pac-Man had affected us as kids, we would all be running around darkened rooms, munching magic pills, and listening to repetitive electronic music.

I think it's "Donavon Frankenreiter"
I guess there are aspects that are similar, but I don't know if they'd be touring together I think Gomez's earlier stuff takes a fair few risks with the sound. From Liquid Skin, I'd say Revolutionary Kind, We Haven't Turned Around and Rhythm & Blues Alibi are my favourite tracks - but the whole album is good. I'm not into the lastest couple of albums as much, but they're definitely worth a listen.
