Woman needed to love!

I’ve almost given up waiting,
To find an agreeable girl angel who is interested in dating.
I meet many that make me feel lust,
But far fewer whom I’d be prepared to entrust,
With the passion and love that roams my heart,
I need a special woman to play a special part.

I know how to be a good man,
And that it takes effort to be a virtuous Dan,
I’ve got love for my mother, family and friends,
For the world and its inhabitants, for whatever the weather sends,
For rain or sunshine,
Neither do I constantly pine.

I can only follow paths I think could be right,
Against drunk-fuelled love at first sight, I will always fight.
I believe that you don’t meet many people who you can truly love,
Special people who in regards to others, you place way above.
But maybe I should give in to the repeated advice that’ it helps if everyone is drunk’
And it might improve my sex life, which at the moment is similar to that of a Buddhist monk.
I found this special blessing with a girl 4 years ago,
Although now she is someone who I really barely know,
But I have never stopped loving this truly angelic lady,
Who I pushed away with my immature emotions that were at best shady.

Having experienced that kind of emotional exchange before,
I know I need another good woman, cos love is amazing, I felt it and I saw,
In the eyes and in her affection,
From this girl I always have the ever-present recollection.

A woman to love offers more than friends and family can give,
Even so I have shown myself that without this (in the short term!), I can still live.
