Just an idea, but would anyone be up for something like this?

Say everyone who wants to play starts off with and amount of money, say £100, and you bet on sporting events and have to try and build up as much as you can. Obviously not real money, maybe seeds or whoever has the most gets something, like the most expensive thing in the shop when we get it back, shitloads of seeds or something. I dunno, I haven't really thought it through that much, just wanted to see how many people would wanna do it if we got it running.

For what sports would it be? Because i know a lot of the europeans on here would like football n such, while americans n canadians would like american football or basketball or baseball.

yeah it sounds like a good idea but way too hard to organize and keep track of all of it. and whos going to create all the odds?

You can bet on any sporting event you like and the odds will come off a gambling website like Ladbrokes.com. It shouldnt be that hard to keep control of, just a thread for placing bets and a thread for keeping track of everyone's scores (maybe a sticky if we have enough people to make it worth it) Just an idea to liven things up a bit, the forums are getting a bit dull right now.
