another 'peom'....it's a bloody long 'un

Post by supasayer »

what's with all these 'peoms'???

i've just smokeda lovely zoot of some proper spinach and i'm ready to play, to spit my shit up in this wordplay fest or scrimmage, ready to tip tap keys like Fred Astair until i'm finished, thought-flow diminished and it's time to retire....but right now right here these thoughts are on fire, inspired by the cerebellum food i'm inhaling to make my arms begin flailing, pen dangling and trailing from my fingertips or from key to key as i flip pho-ne-tics...you see i like to write when i'm lean/stoned/buzzin' etcetera...and i can do this either on computa screen or plain paper...neither's bettera.....either's an equal caper....anyway to the point...i'm going off again like like the fire inside my pure joint...as i was smokin outside (you see my baby daughter is upstairs sleepin' + i never smoke inside my own gaff) i had a laugh to myself (senile dementia at 31??!!) making up a rhyme to post here after i saw a number of 'peoms' posted up here and somebody sayin, 'all the newbies poems are shit' basically.....well this is what i thunk...

wow (Ok i didn't say wow when outside, but you know the weeed...i be forgettin exactly...so its an abridged version....yeh i know i'm babblin'....as lean as a tower in a place called pisa)

Ok....starting again

there's too many low-grade poems up in this forum
if they were hardcopies...paper
i'd rip them down and store 'em
save them for a rainy day
to maybe use as a roach
until they all vanish like
Cinderella's coach
when it changes back to a pumpkin
i don't mean to critique too harshly
i'm not lumpin'
all thes poems into the same biblio-basket
some of them reach deep
like the bones inside a casket
i like the poems that are real and don't mask it
in weak rhyme
some exude their weedstench
in a way i could flask it
hold it for a moment
then release and let smoke blast shit
into each lung until i chat about Carl Jung
or Immortal Technique
until there's red in my cheek
and a stomach twinge and a back that creaks
and grey matter that seeps
words
like a leaking tap
unheard
yet swiftly spoken in my mind
i'm a safe not shifty guy
come on let me be your guide
into my world
slowly unfurled
like a new fern
or new bairn
from it's inside home
cos each and every poem
it's a new conception formed from introspection and a tone of pure honesty
honestly
if you don't feel this flow
then please will ya promise me that you'll leave this forum now
lay down cos you know the rain has come
like you're in a patch of green field
and you're a dirty great cow
i don't mean that as a cuss
no way no how
just leave
now
please
i'll help you out

come back again at me
come back at me
and shout and rant and rave and swear
and wave your fist like i penis through the air
i'll laugh
i don care
that's 'don care'
cos this poems done with care
and weed in my blood
'have i done OK'
'yeh, you don kinda good'

peace i am out to check some porn site...checkin for that black women on new Big bro UK as well....lovely skin and breasts....don worry about the rest....that's jus now...this is fantasy time...early hours.... anyway big Bro is just background, before you start tellin' me of the sins of the 'Brother' and all that.....

gone

Too many low grade poems on here?? Hell, what you just wrote might sound good to you.... some of it sounded good to me, and i could actually feel some of it, but most of it was just you rambling on about nothing in particular, and using anything you can to rhyme.

And this isn't the kind of poem i meant by sayin the newbie poems were shit, i meant the ones that are like maybe a max of 12 lines long, and we heard them all when we started smoking weed.

a-fire-inside....my lancashire chum.....i'm from Preston by the way....you are damn right......i was proper lean when i wrote the above so yeh, i was rambling alright....but this is what my freestyle was about.....rhymin' whatever i can....look deeper though my friend and recognise that there was a clear thought process here not clouded by the gear.......i write short poems too, but sometimes i like to just fire off and enjoy the wordplay.

plus i hope you understood that iw as bigging up enough of the other stuff i read up in here......

thanks for the positive and negative within your post....it all helps me refine....i am currently working on putting my poems/flows/mind splurges to beats and am not stating that my shit is hot....it's just what it is...and it is largely for me, although i do believe i have stuf to say too.

peace

I'm also in the process of creating beats for my rhymes, i just need a set of my own turntables so i can do it all the time. I really wanna get somewhere in the music scene, and feel that this is the best way to go about it.

i have a friend who creates his own beats and he's v.skilled plus a frined who runs a studio...so i'm up in there soon to record some of my poetry over mainly jazz, funk and hip hop beats......what do you listen to and what beats are you looking to rhyme over?

plus i'll have a nother gander at your piece while we're both online and feedback my thinkin'

I haven't cried in quite some time,

love the theme, it's an important one for a geyser....i'm assuming you are male

They said, while in a blur... "I know you love your momma but it's either us or her."
And i'm sorry for my decision, I should've looked with more precision.
I should've tried to invision the consequences of my nonsense senses,
And the way they cause this tension

like the phonetic twisting here...nice

They need a complete reinvention, a convention of delinquence,

not sure i understand the relevance of the latter half...would this convention be clearer...jus a thought..

I don't know how these rappers do it, expressin to the whole fuckin world,

well some do and some don't...again who you checking for?

Or maybe she'd just sit and stare, right into my eyes,
And revise this diguise that hides them from my lies.

that hides them...whats the them bit....i'm not sure i fully comprendo.....like the revise the disguise shit

At times like this, i reminisce, and wish to god i could've died!

that's kinda dark....but a powerful way to end this..

hey which part of Lancs are you hailing from then mate...?

in a bit
