Dreams

Post by Midnight Toker »

I didn't really know where to stick this, so if the mods can think of somewhere better for it by all means put it there.

Lately i've been having really vivid, specific dreams. Not the kind of dreams where your living a complete fantasy or anything, really clear dreams based around my life, set in my area outlining my deepest desires and fears and letting me live them.

They've showed me meeting the girls of my dreams in a way i can totally see happening, showed me beating up someone that i know i'm gonna hammer next time i see him, showing up things im self concious about and showing what life would be like if i had some of the things i wanted, loads of things like that. And they're so real, a couple of times when i've woke up i've had to really think about whether or not it actually happened. And it's not as if this has been a one off, it's been almost every night this week. It's almost as if they're preminitions, they're things i can totally see happening in the immediate future, things i wish would happen.

they've really opened my eyes to a few things, almost as if im watching myself through someone elses eyes and able to see things about myself i've never even thought of. Does anyone else get shit like that? Are dreams windows to the soul? Does the subconcious mind know things the concious mind doesnt? Can we really see what's gonna happen before it does? Am i making any sense whatsoever?

Man i'm wasted.

Yeah mate i know exactly what you mean. I've been having dreams that make me feel guilty or anxious or something and when i've figured out it was a dream the emotion is still there even if im telling myself in my head it was a dream. I believe these are preminitions but im not sure yet. I have had preminitions in dreams before, well once, I dreamt about my second shroom trip where i bad tripped. The dream really stuck in my head, cause I was so parranoid about it even in the dream. When I did bad trip all the events matched the dream perfectly. Of course none of my mates, and probably very few of you believe this because people generally don't, plus i was tripping intensely on 40g of hawaians when i told them about it.

Another thing that trips me out about dreams is recurring dreams. Since i was a little kid i've been having this dream at least once a year.
I'm in a stable with my biological father, I ask him what animals are behind the gates and he says dinosaurs. I ask him to hold me up and see them and he does. Then right infront of me there is a slide lock for the pen, I pull it out and loads of dinosaurs stampede out and tramlple me and my dad, i survive but my dad is dead. I have tried controlling the dream and not opening the lock but they still stampede.... any psycologists in the house?

Ive had dreams that I completly forget about until out of nowhere after Ive done something I stop and think that damn I have done this before and it comes back to a dream that Ive had before. Its like you live the future in your dreams.

I experienced something real fucked up. The other night I had a dream that I was kissing a girl who I had known for ages, and that we were like boyfriend and girlfriend and we were just hanging out.
And the next day, I walked into school, and I see her (she is so fucking fit) and she smiled, I smiled, I walked off, she walked off. And then I just experienced some really fucked up kinda flashback, I went back into my deam, and went back to me and her hanging out.
It was just a split second, but it felt like I had been in that fantasy for ages. It is so wierd

dreams tend to come and go. I usually forget about it and feel like somthing happened the night before and it will just be on my mind for the day.

I haven't remembered a dream clearly in months. *sigh*

But dude, I wish you had used my study here at Weedguru about dreams.
You can use it as a place to store the dreams you wrote down when they were fresh, and analyze them for patterns. Read my theory on dreams there.

Serioulsy test this out man I think you remember your dreams better if you sleep on your back, instead of your sides or stomach. This is how it is for me anyways.
