I have heard from many people that you reach a certain point where you get a resistance to weed. Is that true? I have smoked for about a year for every weekend and some during the week. when will I reach this point?

Tolerance, maybe? I know that unless its some wicked potent shit... I have to smoke a lot more than I used to have to smoke. Its not really resistance, but just basic tolerance... Once your body can tolerate a certain amount of a chemical it will take more of that chemical to produce the original effect.

i only felt a difference when i started smoking more than twice a day, but before that it was da bestest everest high man

i smoke everyday and i still feel i don't have much of a tolerance i still get stoned off a joint. the only difference is i keep smoking more and more and more and more and more...this could go on for a while. Instead of a few spliffs doing me for a day

its weird, if im smoking on my own i get stoned off of a joint (well stoned enough) but if im smoking with mates, i can smoke through a quarter (with 1 or 2 mates) and still carry on.. its not the fact im smoking on my own with no-one to pass the joint too, just seems it affects me differently. maybe when your own you dont have to smoke loads.. your body thinks "no-ones gonna think im a lightweight" and u get stoned easier becuase of that, and that your relaxed

from personal experience, the only way to keep your tolerance low, and not have to quit is to keep yourself busy. Since i work fuck-all timings from 8am to 10pm everyday, Monday to saturday, by the time i get back im so fucking tired, even one joint is more than enough...

If ur like me, it takes alot to get stoned, even though i've only been smokin 3 or 4 years. The only time i don't smoke is when i'm asleep or in class. After ever college class i still go for a smoke though. I guess it's what you do when nothing seems to interest you anymore!!

yeah...the thing is i really dont have the time to do that anymore..the only time i smoke throughout the day is on Sunday (or holidays)..i cant smoke in office because then i cant pay attention and i dont like fucking wth my career

As much as i have been smoking the past two years i would have thought i would build up some type of tolerence, but if i got some good bud, i will pack a fat bowl and tada, im high. so i have yet to build a tolerence up, but i think you eventually can. who is the oldest stoner on here, then you can ask an expert.

nowhere--im the exact same. i always get a better buzz when its just me smoking by myself. but when i get with friends it seems like it takes be at least double the amount of bud to get me high. i have always wondered what was up with that because i thought i was one of out of few.

I have no problems getting high with my freinds. It seems just the same. The only difference is when you are alone you can concentrate more on being high and you can smoke more because when I am with my freinds we start talking when we get really stoned and forget we have the pipe, but when I am alone I dont forget about being high so I get more stoned.
