Needs Help Growing Indoors

Hey I'm a first time grower. I dont know shit about growing weed. So I need your help. I tried growin like 2 weeks ago. My plants got, like, 2 in tall then died. I probably did mad things wrong though. I user a regular light bulb (70 watt) and some soil that my mom uses outside (Idk if that matters or not). I jus need ta know some 1,2,3 steps on how to grow this shit successfully. And some questions are... How many times a day should I water it? Is miracle grow a good idea if so how many times a week? When I put tha fan on the plants should I still be heating them as they get cool air? The pot I have now is pretty big. My mom had on of her big plants in that shit. How many seeds could/should I put in there? Do I heat them as soon as they are planted? As you can see I aint too experienced with this, but it seems like a challenge and I wanna do it. So if ya could help me out. ~1~
