Any educated "entrepreneurs"

Post by MarleyBoi »

i have a question about somethin... basically after i finish high school i'm planning to take a couple years off from school to relax, get a job around town, save enough money to start a foundation and make a business, buy a home, plane tickets, etc. once all the money is amassed i'm planning on starting up a cafe in amsterdam and living there. now my questions are- first of all, how much money total do you think it would take me to get a good start on my life, and second, do you have to have a college degree to start a business?

I think you're required by law to have a business management degree to start a business in holland.

really? our band is classified as a business, we got a BSB number a year ago. we get tax deductions on all of our instruments and stuff.

starting a cafe will take a lot of money to get started, plus all of the extra work to get in line with health regulations etc. you also have to weigh up the amount of money the business will take and will it cover the over head costs. my advice would be to defiently save a lot, keep a good credit rating and find partners. these will all make it easier to get a loan from the bank.
